Extracurricular student activities
Students prepare fashion shows, seminars and other projects that matter for their future work and career. The school’s annual programme includes excursions around Macedonia, while trips abroad have a special purpose: visiting the best professional and educational fairs, fashion fairs, seminars and perfumery presentations, organising mini shows and presentations of seasonal trends, and visiting theatres, museums and other places related to the school’s profile.
Student excursions
The school organises educational excursions so students can learn first-hand about the culture and society of peoples in the country and beyond. They broaden knowledge, encourage critical thinking and strengthen socialisation, regardless of cultural background, tradition or religion.
Community work
Community work builds a positive attitude towards social values, life in a community, a sense of belonging and sustainable development.
Because of the nature of its practical work, “Academy Leontic” supports retirement homes during the Week of the Elderly and homes for children without parents whenever they need the services our students are trained for. It is also a chance for students to see how work and help are organised outside the salon, in non-standard conditions.
Eco activities
The school takes part in the “Eco-School” programme, involving students, teachers, parents, technical staff, masters and partners of the school, together with the local authorities, the business community and the Chambers of Crafts.
The goal is to raise awareness about the environment and its protection — especially regarding the products we use at school. Students learn how cosmetic products are stored, how used packaging is disposed of and how expired products are safely discarded.
