Education is organised as a three-year modular programme, with the option of an additional fourth year and full four-year training for cosmetic technician.
We use the modular teaching system, which allows students to fully engage with the areas and content that match their sensibility and interests. Its key feature is fast acquisition of a qualification, with professional skills upgraded continuously. Students also take part in field work, events and projects to gain a well-rounded view of their future profession.
Classes are held in Macedonian, and in Albanian and Turkish when enough students enrol to form a full group.
Teaching time
The curriculum balances theory and practice in all three years: of 32 hours per week, 17 are practical training.

Practical training
Practical training is the foundation of every educational profile. It lets students master all techniques presented in theory and gain experience over time. During practice they get a clearer orientation in their chosen field and a real understanding of their future occupation.
Students practise on volunteer models, developing their business and communication skills with clients. Once they have gained enough skill and experience, they join salon work at the beauty centre “Studio Leontic”.

Transfer possibility
All students, regardless of their chosen direction, follow general classes until the second semester of the second year, and then choose a specific field — hairdressing, make-up, cosmetics or massage. Students who decide not to continue at “Academy Leontic” can transfer to another high school, and students from other schools can transfer in by passing the differential subjects.
